Lexy Bodor- Commodore
My name is Lexy, and I am a junior studying Environmental Science and Data Science. I’m from Arlington, VA, and I’ve been enjoying sailing now for almost seven years! I raced for a couple of seasons in high school before joining the team as a freshman. Since then, I’ve enjoyed improving my skills, sailing in regattas, and teaching beginners. Previously, I served on our extended exec board as Community Outreach Chair. One of my favorite memories from my time on the team is going jellyfish-fishing at one of our regattas up in Annapolis!
Meredith Timm- secretary
Hi, my name is Meredith Timm, and I am the secretary. I am a junior studying Biology on a pre-med track. I am from Herndon, VA. I hadn’t sailed before joining our team as a freshman, but I have enjoyed learning how to sail and getting to know the team.
Mason Guerster- fleet captain
Hi! My name is Mason, and I am Fleet Captain. I am a junior at the College double majoring in Studio Art and Chinese. I am from Beverly, MA, and I have been sailing since I was a kid. In my freetime, I mostly fix boats, but I am also in an acapella group. A fun fact about me is that I worked on a schooner one summer and we would feed seagulls cheetos.
Meredith Endres- vice commodore
My name is Meredith, and I am a junior majoring in Global Health and Politics major on a pre-med track. I am from Alexandria, VA and I have sailed most all of my life but my first racing experiences were here with Tribe Sailing during my freshman year. Last year I served as our team’s Regatta Chair and I have loved stretching my sailing knowledge and working more with teaching beginners. This team is my happy place at the College and one of my favorite memories is surfing down waves during a very windy regatta in South Carolina.
Ryan Flaherty- Treasurer
My name is Ryan Flaherty. I am a senior at William and Mary majoring in Economics and minoring in accounting. I live in Alexandria, Virginia and work at Wegmans. I have been sailing since I lived in Puerto Rico in 5th grade. I joined Club Sailing my Freshman year and have continued to grow closer to the team and learn more about sailing. Previously I served as the team's Risk Manager and I love working with our sailors to continually improve our team for years to come!
Lily Buro- team activities chair (TAC)
My name is Lily Buro, and I am a senior studying Marketing and Film Studies here at William & Mary. I joined Club Sailing my freshman spring, knowing the basics of sailing—and by the basics I mean that water and wind were involved. Joining the team has been the best decision of college career. The people I have met and the experiences I have gained from this organization have made my college experience more magnificent than anything I ever could have imagined. As the resident personality hire, I am still learning the art of sailing downwind while having the pleasure of providing our team with activities that work to create a greater, more unified team culture.
Eric Johnson- Sailing operations Chair (SOC)
My name is Eric, and I am the Sailing Operations Chair. I am a sophomore planning on double majoring in physics and applied math. I sail out of Annapolis, MD, as well as Wellfleet, Massachusetts. I am looking forward to continuing to sail as well as continuing to teach and coach members of our team on how to get better at sailing.
