Eric Johnson - Commodore
My name is Eric, and I am a junior studying Physics and Math. I am from Arlington, VA. I grew up sailing in Cape Cod and racing in Annapolis and the DC area. I joined the team as a freshman. I have served as the Sailing Operations Chair and Fleet Captain for the team and now have turned my attention to running and managing our fabulous team.
Giuliana Popoff - Secretary
Hi! I’m Giuliana and I’m a freshman majoring in Hispanic Studies and International Relations from Lake Forest, Illinois. I grew up sailing on Lake Michigan in the summers, and I’ve really been enjoying sailing on a team for the first time. This is my first year on the team and on the exec board and I’m super excited for this season!!
Conor Farah - Fleet Captain
Hi, I am a Junior studying Data Science and Theatre. I started sailing after restoring an original Hobie 18’ Catamaran with my brother’s several years ago. This year I am serving as Fleet Captain, in charge of restoration and maintenance of the beautiful WM fleet of 420’s.
Julia Larmee - Vice Commodore
Hi my name is Julia, and I am a sophomore studying public health and physics. I am from Arlington, Virginia, and grew up sailing and racing on Walloon Lake in Northern Michigan. Joining this team freshman year was one of the best decisions I have made at W&M, I have met amazing people and continued racing and sailing. I’m excited to serve as Vice Commodore this year!
Jonah Peters - Team Activities Chair (TAC)
My name is Jonah Peters, I’m currently a sophomore studying Government and Philosophy (maybe). I’m from Bethesda, Maryland, but learned to sail on lake Chautauqua in NY. Joining Club Sailing was the best decision i made my first semester at college, and I’m excited to continue serving the club on exec as your TAC!
Tyler Samdal - Treasurer
Hello! My name is Tyler Samdal and I am a Junior double majoring in Business Analytics and History. I am originally from Seattle, Washington, and enjoy the outdoors, reading, and sailing! I first learned to sail my freshman year of college, and I look forward to making sure others get the opportunity to learn sailing as well. Tribe Sailing has been both an incredible opportunity and community for myself and many others, and my time at college would not have been anywhere near as awesome without it. Sail on!
Tyler Boissevain - Team Activities Chair (TAC)
My name is Tyler, and I am a sophomore studying Marketing and Business Administration. I’ve enjoyed a decade of sailing in Connecticut, including two years as my high school’s race team captain. Since my freshmen year, I’ve enjoyed learning and bonding with my teammates on Tribe Sailing. I look forward to creating more of these opportunities as co-TAC!
Charlotte Stillman - Sailing Operations Chair (SOC)
My name is Charlotte, and I am a junior studying Computer Science and Economics. I’m originally from New York, where I grew up sailing on the Hudson River, but I’ve since moved to Norfolk, VA, where I sailed competitively throughout high school. Since joining this team as a freshman, I’ve had a great time attending regattas, teaching beginner sailors, and making friends. I’m excited to serve as Sailing Operations Chair this year and help make this team better!
