Each practice is led by a dedicated Practice Captain (PC) who is responsible for running practice. We work to meet sailors at their ability level and our PCs develop practices that push everyone. Throughout our history we have constantly grown as a team, and now our racing and learn to sail programs are the strongest they have ever been. We have been able to achieve this with the help of generous supporters over the years. Being a dual purpose program, made up of all levels of sailing ability, we have a different mission and operational structure than many college sailing teams, which also increases our cost. Central to continuing to be who we are as a team is being able to financially sustain our program. From capital expenses to operational costs sailing is an incredibly expensive sport, and as we work to keep the cost of joining low we continue to rely on donations from generous members of our community.
